How we turned the theme of infinity into a logo that reflects every twist and turn of the game.
The Brief Behind the Eye
When we were brought in to design the identity system for Bigg Boss Season 8 Telugu, we knew this wasn’t just another reality show refresh. The season’s theme was bold, layered, and unpredictable, infinity. But this wasn’t just a visual idea. It was baked into the very structure of the show: no fixed prize money. Contestants could earn endlessly, or lose it all. The stakes weren’t just high, they were fluid. That’s the story we needed to bring to life.
Symbols in Motion
At the heart of the logo is the eye, a classic Bigg Boss symbol, but reimagined through the lens of infinity. The iris takes the shape of a continuous loop, representing not just the all-seeing presence of Bigg Boss, but the limitless possibilities (and pitfalls) of the game.
We embedded a staircase within the eye, subtle but powerful. It symbolises the emotional and strategic climb contestants face each day, where progress is never linear, and every step up could be followed by a drop. It’s the game’s heartbeat, translated into form.
A System That Sees Everything
Surrounding the eye, a five-circle formation creates a flower-like shutter, a nod to the camera’s constant presence. It’s about focus, revelation, and layered emotion. Every element was crafted to echo the essence of the show: drama, duality, depth.
And in motion, the logo becomes more than a mark. It moves like the game moves, tense, flowing, unpredictable. The identity didn’t just support the content, it reflected it, amplifying each twist as it unfolded on screen.
Beyond the Screen
The identity system for Bigg Boss Season 8 wasn’t about decoration, it was about immersion. A logo that could hold symbolism, move with the narrative, and set the tone for the season. Every visual built from this core identity, title sequences, promos, digital branding, felt unified, intentional, and true to the chaos within the house.
At FATLEG, that’s what we love to build, identity systems that don’t just look good, but hold meaning. Got a story that needs to be seen, felt, and remembered? Let’s build it together.
